From November 2023, the minimum wage levels set by the Living Wage Foundation for all employees aged over 18 will be £12 per hour (2022: £10.90). London rate will be £13.15 per hour) (2022:£11.95). This is voluntarily paid by participating organizations.
The effect of the increase in the National Living Wage from £10.42 to £11.44 is set out in the table opposite for those over aged 21 and over. It shows the equivalent annual salary for an employee being paid the National Living Wage at different weekly hours worked, comparing the new rates from 1.4.2024-31.3.2025 with the rates from 1.4.2023-31.3.2024.
